Day 1: Arrival in Ouarzazate

Welcome to the gateway of the desert! Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you will meet your team and pick up your motorbike. After a quick check and briefing, you’ll have time to explore this charming city known for its cinematic history. A ride to the famous Aït Benhaddou kasbah — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — will kickstart your adventure. Tonight, rest well in a traditional riad, preparing for the exciting road ahead.

Day 2: Ouarzazate to Foum Zguid

After breakfast, you’ll ride southward through the colorful landscapes of Taznakht, a town renowned for its Berber carpets. As you leave the asphalt behind, your bike will glide into the open desert tracks leading to Foum Zguid. The scenery changes dramatically, with rocky plains and distant dunes setting the tone for the days to come. You’ll spend the night in Foum Zguid, a remote and peaceful desert village.

Day 3: Foum Zguid to Erg Chegaga

Today, the real desert adventure begins. You’ll cross the vast, empty Iriki Lake — a dry, cracked lakebed that stretches endlessly to the horizon. Sand tracks and small dunes lead you towards Erg Chegaga, one of Morocco’s most remote and majestic dune fields. After an exhilarating day of riding, you’ll reach your desert camp where the stars feel almost close enough to touch.

Day 4: Erg Chegaga to Zagora via Mhamid

After a sunrise breakfast in the dunes, you’ll set off through soft sands toward Mhamid, the last small town before the “endless Sahara.” From there, follow the Draa Valley, riding along ancient caravan routes lined with lush palm groves and traditional ksours (fortified villages). The day’s journey ends in Zagora, where the famous sign reads: “Timbuktu — 52 Days.”

Day 5: Zagora to Nkob via Tamegroute

Before leaving Zagora, a quick detour to Tamegroute reveals an ancient library housing centuries-old manuscripts, and pottery workshops still using traditional green glazes. From there, ride deeper into southern Morocco’s kasbah country. Winding through oases and rocky desert, you’ll arrive at Nkob — the “village of 45 kasbahs” — where you’ll rest in a charming guesthouse with panoramic mountain views.

Day 6: Nkob to Merzouga via Alnif and Rissani

Today, you cross the Jbel Saghro range, a dramatic landscape of jagged peaks and hidden valleys. The ride is pure bliss for off-road lovers, offering a true sense of wilderness. After passing through the small town of Alnif, fossil-rich and timeless, you continue to Rissani, an ancient trading hub. By evening, the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga rise before you like a golden ocean.

Day 7: Explore Merzouga and the Sahara

This day is all about exploration and relaxation. You can ride around the dunes, visit the black-sand village of Khamlia to enjoy traditional Gnawa music, and maybe even try some sandboarding. Those who want can take a camel ride into the dunes for sunset. It’s a day to breathe, play, and soak in the magical desert atmosphere.

Day 8: Merzouga to Dades Valley via Todra Gorge

Leaving the dunes behind, you head toward Tinghir, where the towering Todra Gorge awaits. The narrow canyon walls rise dramatically around you, offering one of Morocco’s most iconic views. After a short break to stretch and snap photos, you continue through the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its lush gardens and twisting mountain roads. Tonight you stay in a kasbah overlooking the valley.

Day 9: Dades Valley to Ouarzazate

After breakfast, the journey continues along the spectacular Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Riding through fragrant rose fields in the Valley of Roses (especially magical in spring), you’ll eventually return to Skoura, known for its palm grove oasis. By late afternoon, you reach Ouarzazate once again, where you can enjoy a relaxing evening, a celebratory dinner, and recount the adventures of the past days.

Day 10: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via the High Atlas

The final ride is no less thrilling. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the winding Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 meters), you are rewarded with panoramic views, Berber villages clinging to hillsides, and dramatic valleys. After an unforgettable descent, the vibrant city of Marrakech welcomes you with its energy, markets, and historic charm. Tour ends — but the memories will last forever.
