6 days Ouarzazate desert motorcycle tour
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora 220km
Pick up your motorcycle and follow a beautiful road through the Anti Atlas Mountains. You can take a small track to reach the Tizgui waterfalls. Arrive in Adgz for lunch, then follow the magnificent Palm Tree Route and the Draa Valley to Zagora. Overnight in a bivouac in Zagora.
Day 2: Zagora – Taghbalt – Oumjrane – Tafraout sidi Ali 150 km
After breakfast, we’ll head to Tazarine. We’ll pass through a black rock plateau called Hamada. Here, you’ll meet nomadic shepherds tending their goats and camels. We’ll then follow an ancient caravan route, also passing through the Paris-Dakar rally. Admire the Saharan landscape. Spend the night in the desert village of Tafraout Sidi Ali.
Day 3: Tafraout Sidi Ali – Ramlia – Ouzina – Taouz – Khamlia – Merzouga
After breakfast at your hotel, we will explore the Ramlia dunes and the Ouzina Paris Dakar rally track. We will discover the rock carvings in Taouz, then we will go to the Khamila village to see the Gnaoua show, music from the south of the Sahara. After a delicious Berber pizza, we leave for Merzouga. Night and relaxation in a hotel.
Day 4: Dunes of Merzouga Erg Chebbi
Discover the Erg Chebbi dunes with a day of motorbike riding. Alternatively, you can leave your bikes in your hotel’s parking lot and head out on a camel ride to explore the Erg Chebbi dunes. Admire the sunset in the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy dinner around a campfire. Spend the night at the Erg Chebbi camp.
Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Boumalne
After breakfast at your camp, enjoy a camel ride to your hotel in Merzouga. Afterward, you’ll pick up your motorcycles and continue our motorcycle tour to Erfoud. Visit the fossils and continue our motorcycle tour to the Todra palm grove and then to the Todra Gorges. Lunch will be enjoyed among the cliffs, which are over 200 meters high. From there, we’ll continue to Boumalne Dadès. Overnight at a hotel in the Dadès Gorges.
Day 6: Dadès Gorges – Kelaa Mgouna – Skoura Oasis – Ouarzazate
We will follow the Dades Valley to Kelaa Mgouna where you will discover the locally made rose products, then the road will take us to Skoura Oasis where you will visit the Kasbah of Amridil. From there we will reach Ouarzazate to return the motorcycles we will drop you off at your hotel.
