Detailed Itinerary 14 days motorcycle tour Casablanca to the desert
Day 1 – Arrival in Casablanca
Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. If arriving in the morning, enjoy a short city tour including the Hassan II Mosque and the Casablanca medina. Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 2 – Casablanca → Marrakech
After breakfast, pick up your motorcycles and start your journey south to Marrakech. Ride through scenic landscapes as you approach the city. Upon arrival, explore the vibrant Medina and the famous Jamaa el-Fna square. Overnight at a beautiful riad in the heart of the Medina.
Day 3 – Marrakech → Essaouira (Coastal Ride)
Depart Marrakech for Essaouira, riding along the scenic Atlantic coast. Travel through argan tree forests and witness goats climbing trees, stopping at a cooperative to see traditional argan oil production. Arrive in Essaouira, explore the medina, Skala port, and artisan workshops. Dinner and overnight in a riad.
Day 4 – Essaouira → Agadir
Ride along the picturesque Atlantic coast, passing Sidi Kaouki and Taghazoute beaches. Explore Agadir, visiting the El Had souk and the port, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at a comfortable hotel in Agadir.
Day 5 – Agadir → Taznakht → Foum Zguid
Journey through argan forests and traditional Berber villages. Stop in Taroudant to explore its ramparted medina. Continue through Taliouine and Taznakht to Foum Zguid. Enjoy a Berber dinner and overnight stay in a desert bivouac.
Day 6 – Foum Zguid → Iriki → Erg Chegaga Dunes
After breakfast, ride across the deserted Iriki Lake and the Tagine Mountains, following desert tracks to the majestic Chegaga dunes. Experience the stunning sunset over the dunes and overnight in a bivouac within the Sahara.
Day 7 – Chegaga Dunes → M’hamid → Zagora
Start the day with a motorbike ride exploring the dunes. Continue to M’hamid el Guizlane, then take the sandy road towards Zagora. Enjoy the desert landscapes and stay overnight in a bivouac camp.
Day 8 – Zagora → Hamada → Paris-Dakar Track → Merzouga
After breakfast, ride through the Hamada, a vast black rock desert, interacting with nomadic shepherds. Continue along an old caravan trail and sections of the Paris-Dakar Rally track until reaching the Merzouga Desert. Overnight in a hotel in the village of Merzouga.
Day 9 – Merzouga → Dunes → Todra Gorges → Dades Gorges
Ride through Erg Chebbi dunes, then return towards Erfoud to visit fossil sites. Pass Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges, where you will have lunch amidst spectacular cliffs. Continue to Dades Gorges for overnight in a hotel.
Day 10 – Dades Gorges → Kelaa Mgouna → Skoura Oasis → Aït Ben Haddou
Ride through the Dades Valley to Kelaa Mgouna, famous for rose products, then cross the Valley of Roses to Skoura and visit the Kasbah Amridil. Continue to Ouarzazate and visit Kasbah Taourirt before arriving at Aït Ben Haddou. Overnight at a local hotel.
Day 11 – Aït Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech
Travel through Telouet, visiting the Glaoui Kasbah, and cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Enjoy panoramic mountain views before arriving in Marrakech. Drop off motorcycles and check into your riad for overnight stay.
Day 12 – Marrakech → Ourika Valley Excursion
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the Ourika Valley. Visit the Setti Fatma waterfalls and enjoy a riverside lunch. Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
Day 13 – Marrakech → Agafay Desert Excursion
Explore the nearby Agafay Desert by motorbike, riding through rocky desert hills with views of the High Atlas. Stop for lunch and enjoy the scenery before returning to Marrakech for your final overnight stay.
Day 14 – Transfer to Casablanca
