Detailed Itinerary 11 days from Casablanca to Chegaga desert by motorbike

Day 1 – Arrival in Casablanca

Arrive at Casablanca airport and meet your guide. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Depending on your arrival time, take a stroll through the vibrant Medina and visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 2 – Pick up motorcycles and Marrakech

After breakfast, collect your motorcycles and start your journey to Marrakech. Explore the historic Medina and the lively Jamaa el-Fna square, soaking in the atmosphere of the city. Overnight stay in a riad within the Medina.

Day 3 – Marrakech → Ouarzazate

Depart early, crossing the Tizin’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters with panoramic views over the High Atlas Mountains. Stop for a short break and lunch before descending to the southern slopes of the Atlas. Arrive in Ouarzazate and check into a riad facing the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Ouarzazate → Agdz → Zagora (220 km)

Ride through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and optional small track to Tizgui Waterfalls. Stop in Agdz for lunch, then continue along the beautiful Palm Tree Route and Draa Valley to Zagora. Overnight stay at a hotel in Zagora.

Day 5 – Zagora → Chegaga Desert (150 km)

Depart Zagora toward the M’Hamid Desert where the paved road ends. Transfer by 4×4 to the Chegaga bivouac. Enjoy a camel ride to watch the sunset over the dunes and spend a magical night under the stars in Berber tents.

Day 6 – Chegaga Dunes → Foum Zguid (250 km)

After breakfast at the bivouac, pick up motorcycles in M’Hamid and drive west through the Djebel Saghro landscapes to Foum Zguid. Arrive at the hotel around noon and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Overnight stay in Foum Zguid.

Day 7 – Foum Zguid → Tafraoute (350 km)

Ride towards Tata, crossing desert plains. In the afternoon, enter the mountains to reach Tafraoute, renowned for its pink rocks and Berber culture. Overnight stay at a local hotel.

Day 8 – Tafraoute → Agadir → Imouzzer Ida-Outanan (220 km)

Depart Tafraoute and ride to Agadir, stopping for lunch at the port in a fish restaurant. Visit Paradise Valley with its deep gorges, then continue to Imouzzer Ida-Outanan for an overnight stay.

Day 9 – Imouzzer Ida-Outanan → Essaouira (170 km)

After breakfast, ride to the Atlantic coast and reach Essaouira. Check into your riad and enjoy a free afternoon exploring the charming coastal city. Overnight stay in Essaouira.

Day 10 – Essaouira → Casablanca

Depart Essaouira for Casablanca. Drop off motorcycles upon arrival and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 11 – Transfer to airport

After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca airport for your departure.
