Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud
Your off-road adventure begins as you leave the bustling city of Fes and quickly ascend into the cool, forested mountains of the Middle Atlas. After passing Ifrane often called “the Switzerland of Morocco” you ride through the cedar forests of Azrou where Barbary macaque monkeys can often be seen. The road becomes more rugged as you continue toward Midelt, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and high-altitude plains.
After lunch, you ride across the breathtaking Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves, ancient irrigation systems, and wide canyon views. Continue toward Erfoud on dusty tracks and desert-flavored roads, arriving at your hotel on the edge of the Sahara.
Day 2: Erfoud – Jorf – Rissani – Merzouga
